to do Pigeon Forge justice...

Click here for ZORB page: ZORB PAGE.

To do Pigeon Forge justice I think it is fair to say that you will need more than just a single day.

I mean if all you want to do is come to Pigeon Forge and have some fun for a few hours and then go home, I guess that would do. But if you are really interested in gittin2know it fairly well and don't want to be rushed to do everything, then you will need to spend at least a day or two here.

Exploring and walking up and down the sidewalks.

Pigeon Forge
Go Carts are always fun

You could spend 1 full day alone just trying to find the "Fastest Go-Carts" in Pigeon Forge. Better bring a lot of ca$h if that is what you plan to do. Because that could get expensive. Average price for a ride is about ohh, around $8. They all claim to be be the fastest in town here in Pigeon Forge, so don't go by the signs out front or bother asking them.

LET ME OUT!

To tell you the truth I'm not really a fan of animals behind bars. I love to look in amazement at these awesome creatures but somewhere inside of me there is a deep sad feeling that just will not let go when I look at a caged animal. It's like the beauty, wonder and majesty of God's creation is in prison.

I'm not a radical animal activist or nothing. But something just doesn't feel right.

A Cement and Iron World

I guess they are taken care of and fed well, but a fat prisoner is not necessarily a happy one. The above pictures were taken at Three Bears Gift Shop around Light Number 6 in Pigeon Forge. It was $2.50 to go in and look at them sadly mope around.

Go if you wish, my suggestion though is to go on the Cade's Cove/Roaring Fork Motor Trail Auto Tour, an 11 mile scenic drive, where you will see historic sites, old churches and many other wonderful things of nature. You can find it up past Gatlinburg. Turn at Light Number 8 in Gatlinburg and follow the signs. There you will more than likely see Black Bears the way they were ment to be seen. In the Wild.

You can find out more about the Roaring Fork Motor Nature trail on the hiking page.

If you want to stock up on some Groceries while you are in down town Pigeon Forge, you can find a Food City between lights Number 7 and 8. There's a Krogers Supermarket on Wears Vally Rd. Turn at Stoplight #3, go to next light and make a right.

However Food City is the most conveniently located in the middle of the strip. It's the only Grocery store on the main drag in Pigeon Forge.

What would there be to do in Pigeon Forge if you didn't have at least 20 different Miniature Golf locations?

ZORB IS NOW OPEN!!!

I havn't seen a year go by yet in Pigeon Forge, that something new doesn't pop up. One of the most anticipated attractions has been ZORB.

All the way from New Zealand. You know, the people who gave us Bungy Jumping.

Still rolling!
Zorbing comes from New Zealand

Don't know what a Zorb is? Don't worry. You're not alone. Not people do. A Zorb or "Zorbing" is where you get inside of this HUGE 11 foot tall, see-through plastic bouncy ball sphere, and.....get rolled down a large 700 foot long "contoured" ditch over the side of a hill. Yep. Sound fun? Ooooooo Kay. I'm ready!!!

Zorb

My wife says she can't wait to try it out. I'm sure I will probably build up enough courage to do it.

I'm just gonna have to make sure I don't have a large meal beforehand. Things might get messy if you know what I mean.

To find more about a Zorb and Zorbing, go to my Zorb webpage: Zorb Pigeon Forge

The Smoky Mountain Zorb in Pigeon Forge also has a website, it can help you out with lot's of info. Here is their link: Smoky Mountain Zorb

ZORB IS NOW OPEN!!!

I'm sure you can't wait to become a zorbonaut!
