Dollywood's Splash Country

WET!..WILD!..SUN!..!FUN!
Dolly Parton knocked another one out of the park when she opened Dollywood's Splash Country in May 2001.
She had already hit a homerun with the opening of Dollywood in 1986.
Dollywood's Splash Country only cost a measly 20 million dollars. It has expanded about every year over the 25 acres it is built upon, adding new wet and wild thrills each season. It doesn't look to slow down anytime soon. Over the years some of the new attractions at the water park that have been added are:
Rain Tree Hollow, Mountain Twist, Big Bear Plunge, Big Bear Ridge, Bear Mountain Fire Tower, and Fire Tower Falls. By the time you read this, I'm sure Dollywood's Water Park will have added something new and exciting.
Parents can incorporate state-of-the-art SafeTzone child locating technology at the park. All it takes is getting an armband for your child that can be used to locate your child should they happen to get seperated from you.
The Park opens near the end of every May and runs through the beginning of September. For a more detailed schedule you can check their website here: Splash schedule.
